Splurging cash can’t guarantee a perfect holiday. Here are three ways to ensure a happy and hassle free vacation

1) Plan Ahead

Planning should be done ideally a month in advance to facilitate smooth visa processing, easy availability of tickets and accommodation. Booking the airlines in advance will save 13 – 15%. The airfares follow a bucket system, fewer seats fall in the category of lowest fares. As you approach closer to the travel date, the chances of getting these low-cost seats get very limited.

2) Book through a recognised Tour Operator

There are Hundreds of Tour Operators available online and offline to book your holiday package. Select Govt. Recognised Tour Operator with credibilities. It will help you to save time and hotels always offer best hotel rates to tour operators. Right Selection of Hotels, houseboat, car and driver are very important accessories of your vacation and a tour operator can help you out to find the right choices to make your holiday hassle free.

3) Passport / Identity card

For foreign travellers your passport should be valid for at least six months before you embark on your travel otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the country of your destination. Domestic travellers should carry a valid ID card which is necessary for checkin at airlines and Hotels.

4) Tourist Visa on Arrival (TVOA) in India enabled with Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) Scheme

The TVoA enabled with ETA Scheme which has been launched today, will facilitate nationals of 43 countries to travel to India for tourism for a short stay of 30 days. The TVoA enabled with ETA would enable the prospective visitor to apply for an Indian Visa from his/her home country online without visiting the Indian Mission and also pay the visa fee online.
